Journal Writing Prompt 39 - Planning for Dreams

Dreams and Planning - they don't really go together, do they? Dreaming is such a spontaneous, no restrictions thing, and planning is all about order and boundaries. But they in fact go together perfectly. First you dream, and then you plan to make those dreams come true.

That's where your journal can help you. Record your dreams. Unabashedly. Freely. Be outrageous. Be true to yourself. Dream.

Then plan.

Decide. Brainstorm. How exactly are you going to make those dreams come true? Go...because the world is yours to take!

  1. Dolly,
Yes, our journals are the perfect place for dreaming and planning. I love to strategize in my journal, figuring out what to do next, what those baby steps will be, to make my dreams come true, whatever they may be. It's one of my favorite benefits of journaling.

I have chosen your post, Journal Writing Prompt 39: Planning for Dreams, as the #JournalChat Pick of the Day on 3/2/12 for all things journaling on Twitter.
I will post a link on Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, my blog and website Refresh with Dawn Herring, and in Refresh Journal, my weekly e-journal:

You're welcome to join us for #JournalChat Live on Thursdays at 5 EST/2 PST for all things journaling on Twitter; it was great to see you this past week. :)

Thanks again for encouraging folks to plan for dreams.

    Be refreshed,
    Dawn Herring
