Which of these three options is MOST important to you?

My fellow journal keepers and blog readers,

Which of the following three things are MOST important to you? They are all related, but if you were to focus on just one thing, right now, which would it be?

  1. Self Discovery
  2. Personal Development
  3. Your Life's Purpose (Passion)

Feedback most appreciated.

  1. Self discovery. I yearn to know myself (my true self, in all the dark and light that I am) more than anything -- to then be able to live authentically and genuinely as I am. Through self discovery, I have found my greatest passion/struggle/gift (art) and a need to continue to grow and develop.

  2. Shanta,

Thank you for taking the time to comment. I completely agree that self-discovery is important, because without that we can't get started with a lot of other stuff. Keep an eye on this blog, and soon I might have something that would help you on the path to self-discovery.

  3. This question is a little bit difficult, because if you go on a journey of self discovery you are planting seeds for your personal development. Both are important to me. With luck, in the process you will find your Life's purpose, I'm still trying to find mine.

  4. personal development would be my reason for journaling but to develop personally I need to discover myself first.

  5. Kerry,

You are absolutely right. If you haven't seen the latest post on here yet, I'm launching a new site www.kaizenjournaling.com which is to help people do precisely that. Drop by and see if you like it :-)

Journaling is absolutely powerful for both personal development and self-discovery.
